My Magazine Research

This is a start of my front cover, double page spread and contents page. I have only done my draft of a front cover and contents page.

Film.

Film

First of all, I chosen two hunger games posters which I deconstructed. I deconstructed these by using the key inventions. Once i had deconstructed the two film posters I then decided to write an analysis about the film. This is because there target audience is teenagers, which was what I was going to focus my film poster on. Once I had written my film analysis I realised that Katniss Everdeen was the main character in the film and she was also the main character on the posters. So, once i had done my research on The Hunger Games I then knew that I had to include a well known character in my poster, so I chose Channing Tatum and made my poster including all the conventions. Once i had done that, I compared them to eachother and made sure that I had included everything that the The Hunger Games had for there target audience.

Magazine Research.

This is all my research I did to build up to my final piece and what I actually needed to think about before I did it. My research helped me build up to my final piece because before i did any research I didn't have a clue of what to include on my magazine cover and what is actually important on the front of a magazine that I dint think was.
